Kaleb Joseph Highlights Annual Awareness Day at Bethlehem Central

Featuring Keynote Speaker Kaleb Joseph
May 20, 2026 | Sponsored by Mission For Marcus

Mission For Marcus is proud to sponsor Bethlehem Central High School’s Annual Awareness Day on May 20, 2026, a full-day program dedicated to Substance Use Disorder, Mental Health, and Bullying Prevention. The event brings together local organizations, service providers, and advocates who share a common goal — to promote education, connection, and hope for young people and the wider community.

This year’s keynote speaker, Kaleb Joseph, will address the entire high school student body with an inspiring message about resilience, self-awareness, and recovery.

Kaleb’s story is one of remarkable perseverance. Raised in a large and challenging household, he channeled his energy into basketball — ultimately earning Division I offers as early as eighth grade and becoming one of the country’s top-ranked point guard recruits. Yet, as he rose to the heights of college athletics at Syracuse University, overwhelming pressures and personal struggles led him down a difficult path.

After facing addiction and confronting his own emotional barriers, Kaleb found recovery and a renewed purpose. Today, through his Self Help Tour, he travels the country sharing his journey and encouraging others to embrace vulnerability, seek support, and break the stigma surrounding mental health and substance use.

Bethlehem Central’s Annual Awareness Day provides an important opportunity for students to learn, reflect, and access valuable resources from community partners working to support mental wellness and substance use prevention.

Mission For Marcus is honored to help bring this authentic and empowering conversation to our local schools — continuing our commitment to awareness, education, and compassion in the fight against stigma.
